Plains Equipment Group – We currently serve YOU through 13 locations that cover more than 25,000 square miles of farm and ranch ground in Nebraska and Kansas.

Simply stated we provide:

• $13 Million in Parts Inventory
• $42 Million in Equipment Inventory
• 340 Employees with more than 4000 years of combined experience and 5000 hours of factory training evey year.

We sell and support, tractors, combines, AMS - global positioning products, hay tools, planters, sprayers, lawn & garden products, commercial mowing, THE Original Gator utility vehicles, skid steers, track loaders, excavators, backhoes, ATV’s from Arctic Cat, Stihl hand held power tools, Reinke Pivots and many other lines of equipment that can be found under: Equipment > Other Products on our home page. We back our product lines with professional, factory trained employees that desire to see YOU succeed in your business, property care, and hobbies.

Starting in 2011, we are also excited to provide you with an industry exclusive customer support call center for John Deere Sprayers and AMS products.

History

Plains Equipment Group prides itself on being a full line John Deere Dealer of Tomorrow. We began with our first stores in McCook, NE and Oberlin Kansas as Southwest Implement in 1981. The West Region added the North Platte location in 2008 and Broken Bow, Ainsworth, O’Neill, and Ord in 2010. In 1993 the East Region was opened and operated as Plains Power & Equipment in York, NE. Since then, the following stores have been added to the East Region; Osceola in 1996, Seward and David City in 1997, Crete in 1999 and Geneva in 2003.

In 2008 the two regions joined to form the Plains Equipment Group with a goal of structuring the company for long term success and longevity in serving our customers. In 2010 the second phase of development came to fruition as we opened our corporate office next to our Seward, NE store.

Going forward, our leadership is focused on continuously improving and evolving in order to provide to you the most comprehensive customer support in our industry and thereby becoming the most stable and supportive agricultural equipment supplier in the Midwest.
